The XTA 426 often referred to in setup setups by its software name, Audiocore is a highly respected, professional 2-input, 6-output loudspeaker management system and digital signal processor (DSP). Manufactured by British company XTA. It belongs to the acclaimed 4 Series family of processors designed for live sound touring, clubs, and high-end fixed installations.
Key Technical Specifications
- Audio Routing: Features 2 fully balanced inputs and 6 fully balanced outputs. A fully configurable internal matrix mixing system allows any combination of inputs to be routed to any output.
- Processing Power: Operates at a native 96kHz sampling rate with premium 24-bit converters, delivering a frequency response up to 32kHz and a dynamic range greater than 116dB.
- Input Equalization: Every input channel provides a 28-band graphic equalizer alongside 8 bands of fully parametric EQ.
- Output Equalization: Each of the 6 outputs features 9 parametric sections. Crossover filters offer variable slopes ranging from 6dB/octave up to 48dB/octave (including Bessel, Butterworth, and Linkwitz-Riley shapes).
- Speaker Protection: Equipped with dual-stage limiters, including a standard limiter to protect drivers from over-excursion and an advanced, look-ahead "D-Max" limiter for catastrophic safety.
- Delay: Offers up to 650 milliseconds of delay for sub-millimeter driver time alignment.
